Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons
Beautiful Vintage Wedding Dresses
If you follow Chic Vintage Brides on Facebook you may have seen how I have been whiling away my lunch times this week – looking at the most wonderful vintage wedding dresses; and I certainly stumbled across some absolute beauties. So this week’s Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons (my Friday fab 5) is dedicated entirely to my Vintage wedding dress finds on Etsy – one from each of favourite eras…..
1920s
This breathtaking silk charmeuse wedding dress from Xtabay with its deep v bodice and sweetheart underlayer, all in the most delicate of lace, really is flapper fabulous…..
1930s
I could so see Bette Davies in this beautiful bias cut wedding gown from Shop Gossamer with satin floral applique neckline and open V back…..
1940s
Aaah how dreamy is this liquid silk wedding gown from Trunk Of Dresses with its oh so pretty illusion neckline, pointed sleeves? It also have the sweetest bow detail on the back…..
1950s
Ok, so this tea length tulle dress from The Vintage Mistress with its lace bodice and bateau neckline is definitely my favourite of the five…..
1960s
But I love the fabulous detachable train that accompanies this lace wedding dress from Daisy & Stella…..
It doubles up as a most magnificent cape (and capes are a big trend for 2014) making the most perfect outfit for a winter bride…..
