Well, that’s just what ‘One White Day‘, a collective of fabulous Hawkes Bay wedding professionals, is providing. Bringing together their skills, they create perfectly intimate elopements and unique destination weddings, and today they’re offering you the chance to WIN your very own one white day worth $3,500!

Of course, as a resident, I might be slightly biased but Hawkes Bay, on the North Island of New Zealand, really is the most beautiful place in the world. Boasting art deco architecture, stunning landscapes (that includes white sandy beaches and long winding rivers, as well as snow capped ranges) and award winning wineries, it also makes the most PERFECT destination to say “I do!” And now, thanks to the team at One White Day, planning a celebration here couldn’t be any easier.

One White Day is the brainchild of wedding professionals; celebrant Nichola Nicholson, stylist and florist Toni McGregor of Magdalen Hill and photographer Natalie  McNally (whose names and work you will recognise from Chic Vintage Brides’ Bouquet Recipes). Spying a gap in the wedding market, this talented trio decided to create something completely new and oh so exciting, a wedding experience with a real difference! They set about taking the hassle out of planning a big day by designing and organising intimate weddings, perfect for couples looking to elope or celebrate with their very nearest and dearest, at a cost most couples can afford. How did they do all of this without compromising on style or quality? Natalie  McNally explains. “We  spotted  a  trend  in  overseas  weddings  that  really  inspired  us  professionally  and   creatively  –  the  concept  of  sharing  the  cost  of  your  wedding  day  with  other  couples!  It’s  proven  to  be  really   popular  with  all  ages  and  couples  who  don’t  want  the  stress,  cost  or  feel  of  a  ‘cookie  cutter’   wedding”.

And so One White Day was born. With a beautifully styled intimate ceremony incorporating flowers, music, a  creative photo session and a stunning venue (with the first being Church Road Winery in Napier) all included in the cost; each day is designed for up to five couples to get married at different times throughout one day, thereby spreading the cost  throughout each ‘mini’ wedding. “By  sharing  the  cost,  couples  can  concentrate  on  love  and  the  romantic  act  of   getting  married,  which  is  after all the  most  important  thing!” says co-­‐owner Nichola Nicholson.

Whilst you may be sharing the day of your wedding with other couples, the women behind One White Day realise the importance of making sure each wedding is special and unique for the people involved. “We  schedule  each  day  to  make  sure  that  couples  that  are  celebrating  their  love  through  One   White  Day  have  enough  time  for  their  ceremony  and  wedding  experience.    They  won’t  see  any  of   the  other  weddings  taking  place  that  day  and  can  customise  their  special  day  with  added  extras.” says Nichola.

 HOW TO ENTER

Entering is easy! All you have to do is head over to One White Day and tell them your love story, then pop across to Facebook and like One White Day. The competition closes on the 19th of September and the winner, selected by Nichola, Toni & Natalie, will be notified shortly after by phone or email, before being announced on Facebook.

Please note travel is NOT included.
