Winter Wonderland – Snow Dusted Winter Wedding Inspiration in a Palette of Neutrals
Good morning lovelies, and say a big hello to December! It is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas here, and this weekend I could resist the urge to decorate no longer. So, after a quick dash into town for a few extra decs Mr E and I spent yesterday afternoon putting up our tree, and she does look lovely! And after a weekend full of Christmas spirit I have the perfect post to start the new week. Do you remember the lovely Winter wedding colour palettes I shared a few weeks ago? Well, I asked those of you who follow Chic Vintage Brides on Facebook to vote for your favourite and the overwhelming winner was a magical Winter Wonderland in a palette of the prettiest soft neutrals…..
And I completely understand why! What can be more romantic than a dusting of snow on your wedding day – it always makes for the most enchanting portraits. And soft neutrals, rather than the more traditional bold reds or winter blues, looks so elegant against a snow dusted backdrop, especially with splashes of silver and gold. Add some dusky muted shades of green and you surely have the perfect palette for an elegant rustic Winter wedding positively brimming with romance.

The Wedding Dress
How about something long sleeved (to keep the chill away) and lovely like the Ezmeralda from Sareh Nouri’s latest collection?
Or choose an accessory to keep you snug, and create two looks with just one dress! This lasercut trumpet gown from Theia is the prettiest shade of blush, which would make a stunning contrast to the crisp white snow and how cosy does that feather wrap look?…..
Or add some sparkle to the proceedings with an embellished gown like the Nouveau from Gwendolynne, it will look incredible in the flickering candle light after the sunsets!
It’s All In The Details
When it’s cold outside, it is ever so tempting to stay cosy indoors, but nature really is at its most magical in the Winter. So, even if just for some portrait photos, find or create the perfect backdrop and make the most of the season – just remember to wrap up! I love the look of luxe layered with snug, so think chunky knit gloves with that feather wrap oh and heavy boots (or Hunters) under your dress – save your glitzy heels for the reception!
Splashes of gold and silver adds warmth and opulence to a Winter celebration, even to the most simple and rustic of tables…..
As well as the clever styling and the oh so elegant calligraphy *swoon*, the beauty of this wedding stationery suite comes from the simple addition of some texture with the string and that gorgeous embossed envelope liner……
So, what do you think? An improvement on my first Winter Wonderland wedding inspiration board? Hmm, its s tough one! Either way, I absolutely love this colour palette! Don’t you?
