20 Incredible Wedding Dresses for under $1000
Now, I love a designer wedding dress as much as the next girl (I was a Jenny Packham bride after all) but I am also firmly of the belief that as magical as your wedding day is, and as much as it should be everything you dreamed of and more, it should not break the bank! Nor does it have to, especially your wedding dress for there are budget friendly options every way you turn – and I am not talking poor quality, unethical, designer knock offs. Today I set out on a one woman mission to prove you could buy a swoonworthy, and even designer, wedding dress for less than $1000, and was absolutely blown away with what I found. So here are 20 of the most incredible, delectable and affordable bridal gowns you ever will see…..
Leyna Gown – Tadashi Shoji through BHLDN
Betula from Twigs & Honey
Garden Gown by Kelsey Genna (ok, so this one is $1000, but its worth it!)
Oleg Cassini through David’s Bridal
Badgely Mischka through Neiman Marcus
Boho Vintage Lace Wedding Dress from Grace Loves Lace
Tadashi Shoji through Neiman Marcus
Or for under $200 how about these stunners from Modcloth…..
Vintage
Vintage wedding dresses are so much more than just timelessly elegant and beautiful, they are also a more affordable alternative to designer or bespoke for a unique bridal look (after all, it is a miracle some of these dresses have survived 50, 60 or 70 years, so the likelihood of 2 the same having made it….)
1950s Tulle Wedding Dress from Mill Crest Vintage
1960s Wedding Dress from The Vintage Mistress
1960s Peplum Wedding Dress from Mill Crest Vintage
1950s Wedding Dress from The Vintage Mistress
1950s Tea Length Wedding Dress from Mill Crest Vintage
Coloured
Unconventional coloured wedding dresses are not only a fab option for saving a few pennies, they also seriously up the style stakes! How about going vintage and coloured like these lovelies…..
Pink Tulle Dress from The Vintage Mistress
Blue Tulle Dress from Mill Crest Vintage
Or for something just as pretty but with more of a modern edge (I seriously love mint at the moment)…..
Mint Tadashi Shoji Dress through Neiman Marcus
Or for something a little more glamorous go metallic…..
Kay Unger through Neiman Marcus
Sterling Lace Dress from BHLDN
So you see, it is possible to save a few pennies without scrimping on style – or quality; and these 20 barely scratch the surface! In fact, I have started to create a Pinterest board full of beautiful bridal gowns that won’t break the bank so why not pop across and take a look.
