I can’t quite believe it, I don’t know where the time has gone, but this week Chic Vintage Brides turns 2?! Truly it only seems like yesterday that I sat down to type my first post and I could never have imagined then where my little blog would be today….. Of course it is all thanks to you! Not that I wouldn’t still be sat at my computer obsessing over all things vintage and wedding anyway, but it wouldn’t be anywhere near as compelling and fun if not for all you lovely newly-engaged-soon-to-be-brides, fellow vintage adorers, stoppers by, fleeting visitors, followers and friends. Mignonne Handmade’s beautiful 2014 collection was inspired by the ethereal elegance of the lady of the woods; the spirit of nature embodied by the feminine image. With vintage inspired veils and headpieces adorned with floral embellishments, hand made silk blooms and beaded blossoms the collection captures the delicacy in nature that can be found while walking through the great outdoors, yet retains a refined sense of elegant, timeless romance.
