Rustic French Country Wedding Inspiration from Presh Floral
Shivering in my office, in the midst of Winter, today’s wedding inspiration shoot from Presh Floral (whose name you might recognise from this beautiful blue vintage Dior shoot from a few weeks back) and Kymberlie Dozois was just what I needed to warm me up! Created in a palette of soft neutrals & pretty shades of purple inspired by Provence, and featuring lush cottage-garden florals as well as the prettiest looking cheese wedding cake you ever will see, it is simple but charming, French country at its most chic…..
I absolutely adore the sumptuous shades of purple in the florals, they add elegance and romance to the rustic setting, making it perfect for you brides planning an Autumn wedding and looking to add a dash of sophisticated refinement to your rustic celebration. Before I share every fabulous detail, a little something from Tanya at Presh Floral, the lady with the vision.“The inspiration for this shoot came at the end of a long Canadian winter from my continual daydreams to escape to the south of France at the time of year when spring fades into summer and lilacs start to be replaced by lavender. Since that was not in the cards at the moment, we pulled together a great group of vendors to create little bit of French country at home. One of our goals for the shoot was to show a more refined way to incorporate a rustic vibe into a wedding. Our colour scheme for the shoot was a mixture of white, cream and grey with pops of lilac, lavender and blush.”…..
Now doesn’t that sound like heaven to you? And with it all captured so perfectly by Kymberlie Dozois I just know you are going to love the end result as much as I do, so be sure to have your pinning fingers at the ready!…..
Here’s a little more from Tanya about the team behind this gorgeous shoot. “The bride was styled in a stunning Anais Anette gown kindly loaned to us by the Handmade Bride, chandelier earrings and delicate bracelets from Sarah Walsh Bridal Jewellery, and the sweetest French lace garter from Florrie Mitton Couture . Her make-up by Klava Zykova was soft and dreamy and her hair was worn in effortless side-braid. The bride’s bouquet featured Quicksand, Amnesia and Alabaster roses with lilacs, astilbe and flowing clematis, all tied in a big beautiful bow of Silk & Willow ribbons.
For the tablescape, Makin’It Lovely set a gorgeous wood table with rustic striped linen runners and lace trimmed napkins. The table was topped with a garland of olive branches and rosemary and a ceramic pitcher filled with lilacs and roses. We included French-inspired elements throughout the shoot like macarons, baguettes and a cake made of brie adorned with flowers and herbs. The stationary handmade by Sarah Alexandra Weddings & Events reflected simple French elegance and fit the look perfectly.”
Isn’t it gorgeous and didn’t it just whisk you off to Provence? Oh and how fabulous is that Brie cake?? I would like to say a BIG thank-you to Tanya for envisioning and co-ordinating this stunning shoot.
