Honestly, holding off posting Part II of this absolutely dazzling wedding from Lara Hotz Photography until today was almost impossible! It took all of my willpower not to get up in the middle of the night and click ‘Publish’! Now though, after seeing the happy couple say ‘I do’, it is time to see them celebrate in style with their perfectly glorious reception……

After their beautiful ceremony She Designs, the incredibly talented creative team behind the styling of Em & Mick’s enchanting wedding, weaved their magic again to transform their garden venue into a spectacular outdoor banquet. Decorated with an eclectic mix of fabulous one of a kind vintage pieces and the prettiest mismatched  floral centrepieces in shades of red from blush to rich deep ruby. It was the perfect balance of opulence and rustic charm, intimacy and grandeur; a heavenly setting for guests to share their food and laughter with the newly married couple. Prepare to be whisked away to their chandalier bedecked wonderland with Lara Hotz‘s epic photography…..

I don’t think it was until the sun went down and the lights came on though that the venue and the lighting’s magic spell was really cast….

Such a perfect day it is hard to imagine how you would go about choosing a favourite moment from so many, but for Em the next part was certainly one of her favourites ~ “In all honesty, we were blessed with memorable moments from start to finish. Standing in front of the people most beloved to us and declaring our love for each other was incredibly powerful, and a moment that we will always treasure. Seeing Mick fling his crutches into the crowd so that he could ‘dance’ with me made me (and our guests) laugh. ”

And Em has the best advice for brides-to-be planning their big day! ~ “Before the wedding people were telling us both not to stress. That is the worst advice for any future bride; it’s just not possible! I would tell brides to ensure that the plan works without you. Try to make sure that the running of the day involves themselves as little as possible. There are so many incredible moments to savour on your wedding day. The last thing you want to be doing is worrying about the small details.”
