Early Summer Rose – Romantic Wedding Inspiration in the Softest Shades of Pink
This delicate Summer wedding inspiration board was inspired by one of Pantone’s Top 10 colors for Spring and Summer 2017: Pale Dogwood. A move on from last year’s Rose Quartz, it is the prettiest shade of pink that just exudes romance, and I thought its soft touch would be heavenly for an elegant modern-vintage wedding…

Of course for a Summer wedding you will want to make the most of the season with a ceremony and reception outdoors! Whether you go backyard, beach or country estate be sure to provide some protection from the Summer sun for your guests, like this bride did. Or find a spot under the canopy of a tree to offer some natural shade – as well as a perfect place to hang some lighting (I am thinking a chandelier or two!)
This is the perfect palette, and season, for a floral affair! So whatever your blooms of choice be sure to splash them everywhere – especially as lush florals is a big trend for 2017 (and I am willing to bet anything we’ll see this trend continue into 2018 too) Whether it’s your bouquet, centerpieces, aisle decor, wedding cake or even your hair, think flowers, flowers, flowers. And then when you think you have enough, add a few more, because when it comes to this trend, more is more!
Let the palette and florals shine, and add an extra layer of romance, with delicate design details – calligraphy stationery, candlesticks and candelabras for lighting, coloured glass in your place settings, and an elegant white wedding cake. And yes, that stone grey is the perfect shade for your groom’s & groomsmen’s suits! They will look so summery in a 2 (or even a 3) piece suit, paired with a crisp white shirt, a splash of colour in their ties, and some tan dress shoes.
