I never got to wear a garter – it was the only downside of my beautifully slinky Jenny Packham wedding dress. Whilst it was a sacrifice I was quite happy to make at the time, I may not have been quite so willing had I set my eyes on some of these beauties from Trousseau!…..

Made using only the finest French laces, silk satins and tulles, silk ribbons and the loveliest vintage embellishments, if these exquisite pieces aren’t heirlooms of the future I don’t know what is. Trousseau is owned and run by the lovely Adelina, a lady with a real passion for her product. Inspired by her mother’s wedding, as well as iconic weddings such as Grace Kelly‘s, Caroline Bessette and Kate Moss‘s, Adelina set out to design and create a collection of chic couture bridal garters and I think it’s fair to say she accomplished her goal. I love how she sources the most delicate of vintage and vintage inspired materials, adorning some with the all important something blue, creating others in the prettiest of pastels….

Creating a collection so stylish that it has already been featured in leading style magazines such as VOGUE Australia, HARPERS’ BAZAAR Brides, BRIDE to BE, THE KNOT, RIVIERA ORANGE COUNTY USA, COSMOPOLITAN Brides and COMPLETE WEDDINGS.

Trousseau are based in Australia but ship their collection worldwide. Loving Adelina’s collection of gorgeous garters as I do, I simply can not wait to see the lingerie and lounge-wear that she is launching soon!!

Oooh now which garter would I have chosen?…… It would have to be the True Love Heirloom, with its french lace trim and hint of blue! How about you?
