Beautiful Botanical Wedding Inspiration
What an exciting day 🙂 I hope you saw the news on Facebook earlier – I have been dying to tell you all about it for AGES, and now at last the word is out!  Over the coming weeks, until launch, we will of course be sharing more, but for now let me just say it is going to change the wedding blogging world (no exaggeration) and I am so proud to be a part of it.
And the excitement keeps coming because today’s lush inspiration shoot took my breath away from the very first image. Showing flawlessly elegant ways to bring a bit of botanical beauty to your wedding, no matter where or when you are planning your big day, it is brimming with details that I just know you are going to love…..
From the ethereal wandering jasmine vine crown and the organic and slightly wild bouquet, to the lavish place settings and tablescape abundant with lush greenery, this exquisite shoot is the perfect reminder of why this look is so timeless. The addition of authentic vintage botany books and a little botanist’s lab, gives it a beautiful Victoriana feel, oh and did I mention how pretty the stationery suite by Southland Fox is? With botanical details by SOUL flowers all styled to perfection by Stockroom Vintage (who also provided the pretty rentals), and photographed by Alissa Saylor, be prepared for some serious swooning!
But first a few words from Elizabeth of Stockroom Vintage “We were inspired by the vision of a botanist’s vintage laboratory. We loved the idea of a well-worn lab table, which housed her old botany books and lab equipment as well as the plant specimens she’s collected, which she places in her beakers, test tubes and apothecary bottles. We used a mix of rich greenery, beloved curiosities and scientific elements—like the test tubes and vintage botanical prints—to evoke the contrast between a botanist’s bookish study and the wild romance of the untamed, natural world.”
Isn’t it a vision of loveliness? There is nothing more elegant than a simple colour palette and this one of green and white, with a hint of rich wood and gold, is just so lush! Thank-you so much to Stockroom Vintage and the rest of the team for creating such beautifully romantic inspiration. And a special thanks to Alissa Saylor for capturing it all so perfectly, and for allowing me to share it with you here on Chic Vintage Brides. You can see more of Alissa’s work over on her website www.alissasaylorphotography.com, and you will also find her on Facebook and Instagram.
Well, if this only whetted your appetite and got you wanting more botanical wedding inspiration, then do take a peek at this timeless inspiration shoot featuring the most lovely peonies, and this beautiful Woodland elopement, or this elegant Autumn affair? Oh and be sure to take a look at this incredible Fall shoot – the florals by CVB’s resident florist extraordinaire Magdalen Hill will have you swooning!
