Inspiration Shoots
A Beautiful Collaboration Inspiration Photoshoot from Kirra Sun Photography
I can’t tell you how excited I am today to bring you a Chic Vintage Brides first – the first inspiration photo shoot post, and my, what a truly magical bridal inspiration photo shoot it is! The result of a beautiful collaboration, of some of the most talented and creative industry professionals this is the photo shoot of wedding bloggers dreams. Composed purely to inspire you by Michelle, of Kirra Sun Photography, who teamed up with dress designer Jennifer Gifford from Jennifer Gifford Designs, makeup professional Kylie Eustace from Kylie’s Professional and florist Julia Rose from Wedding Flowers by Julia Rose. Now, when creative forces like that join together, you know you’re in for something really rather special; so grab a cup of coffee and lose yourself in these most gorgeous images…..
From the lady behind the lens “This was my first wedding collaboration in a small town called, Murwillumbah. It was shot at the Old Murwillumbah Train Station. It was nothing short of splendid due to the amazing people who came together to make it possible. The crew which included a group of selfless individuals who came together for the greater good of my first wedding collaboration. It was honor documenting their hard work and talent.”
“My inspiration came from Jennifer Gifford’s beautiful bridal gown called ‘Temperance’. I fell in love with this gown and I had the absolute honor and pleasure of documenting this sweetest vintage dress. The makeup/hair was beautifully done by Kylie from Kylie’s Professional. I wanted soft lose curls, a look that is relaxed, romantic and almost from a old time, fairy tale.”
I think this shoot definitely has a hint of fairytale, with its rich colours and beautiful lighting, there is a dreamlike quality and a touch of the secret garden perhaps….
“I was lucky to spend some time to relax before the shoot and learned and assisted Julia and Chrissy to create that amazing arch of flowers ….. I nearly injured myself by falling straight on my bum, off a small ladder, and being pricked by sharp ferns… but I loved every minute of it…”
I love the organic way the wedding industry creates little communities. It pulls people together – people who share a passion and a vision, people with a love for what they do, who want to spread that love and share their vision with the wedding community – residents and guests 🙂 Oh I do love this hobby of mine!
A huge thanks to the full creative team, everyone involved in this beautiful collaboration, for allowing me to share these images. It is gorgeous, I am just adoring your work!
Oh and I couldn’t finish this post without a sneaky pic of the lady hard at work behind the camera 🙂 Michelle Timotin….
Such a fab way to start the week. I hope you are all feeling suitably inspired after this – I am!
