Because we’ve already looked at the most perfect bridal hair accessories, decadent wedding invitations, delicious wedding cakes, fabulous bridesmaid dresses and beautiful bouquets and this week we’re turning our attention to the all important, but often neglected, grooms & groomsmen and offering a few ideas for how to infuse his style with some Jay Gatsby charisma for your big day…..

For far too long our boys played it safe with their wedding day attire, but in recent years we have seen more gorgeous grooms expressing their unique styles and joining us brides in wanting to put their own stamp on their wedding day style – which I for one love! And I have pulled together some of my very favourite, and in my opinion most dapper, looks for an Art Deco groom…..

Smart Art Deco Grooms & Groomsmen Attire

When wanting something smart think country gentleman with a 3 piece suit in tweed, herringbone, paisley or plaid! A smart, but not necessarily formal, look with an old world timeless elegance, that would look just perfect finished off with some brogues, a pocket watch and a snazzy tie…..

Art Deco Attire for the Casual Grooms & Groomsmen

But there are plenty of more casual looks, that are no less dapper, for a more rustic celebration or the groom who doesn’t feel comfortable in a suit! Choose smart trousers with a dress shirt and add a hint of vintage with some classic accessories – flat caps, bow ties and suspenders, will all do the trick…..
