Long Sleeve Black Bridesmaid Dresses
Long sleeves are still a key trend for brides and the look is now starting to filter down to bridesmaids. And why not? For all the reasons it looks beautiful on brides, it is perfect for bridesmaids too – plus if you’re planning a wedding for this time of the year it offers your bridesmaids a little extra coverage. To avoid the Morticia Addams look though, choose a shorter dress (with stockings or opaque tights) or make sure the sleeves are lace if you’re going for a floor length gown!…..

I love it! In fact I just wish I had been lucky enough to wear black when I was a bridesmaid – instead of lavender, peach and purple (on 3 separate occasions, I should say, not all together!) none of which really do much for my blue complexion. If you don’t see the beauty in black for bridesmaids though, don’t worry because I have another post packed full of pretty (and perfect for the season) bridesmaid dresses coming up. If you simply can’t wait though just take a peek here for some Autumn inspiration, here for timeless Ivory bridesmaid dresses, here for sweet and summery stripes or here for some of this year’s key bridesmaid trends. You will also find plenty of ideas over on CVBs Bridesmaid Pinterest board – almost 1000 pins worth in fact!
