The Romantic 2016 Bridal Collection from SAJA Wedding
This is one of my favourite times of the year! Not only because of the beautiful change in season – whilst you are looking forward to Fall, here in New Zealand the days are getting lighter, the trees are blooming with delicate blossom and its sweet scent fills the air. But, whilst that makes it a truly magical time of year, it’s not the only reason I love it. Around this time in October, we also start to get glimpses of the beautiful new bridal collections for next year, and I can’t help it, whilst I know weddings are more than just a dress, there is little I love more than perusing the latest exquisitely crafted offerings designed for walking down the aisle in. And today I have an absolute stunner for you, one I just know you are going to love: delicately vintage and unashamedly romantic, SAJA Wedding‘s latest offering is utterly swoonworthy……
Whilst the name SAJA may be a new one to me, the brand was founded in 2000 by designer Yoo Lee, and has since become widely known for its non-traditional and beautifully ethereal design aesthetic. Light, whimsical and timeless, Yoo Lee designs dresses of effortless joy that epitomise femininity – and at attainable price points.
With Art Nouveau inspired details and Art Deco infused elements (we’re talking flattering drop waists and bias cuts) designer Yoo Lee’s love of history is unmistakable in this her newest collection. While the essence of each style remains pure and simple, there is also an abundance of exquisite embellishment and delicate embroidery that will delight any modern vintage loving bride! And I absolutely love her use of layering, it creates such sophisticated necklines and stunning silhouettes.
Crafted in the very finest of fabrics: chiffons, organza, tulle and slinky silks, these are 6 new styles that perfectly cater to today’s modern brides looking for something elegant and romantic. In her own words, Yoo Lee says “We want to strip away the clutter to achieve the ultimate goal: a bride who is both beautiful and comfortable……”
To see more of these as well as some of the beautiful SAJA bridal gowns from past collections, including this Art Deco delight, visit Yoo Lee’s website. And you can follow the brand on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram; which, in case you didn’t know, Chic Vintage Brides is also now on – I hope you’re following at @chicvintagebrides!
