A Celebration of Grooms and their Mos for Movember

Movember

For the last 3 weeks Mr E has been attempting, as he does each year, to grow an enviable mo – he is no Rhett Butler but for a man who freely admits his hair sprouting is random at best, he isn’t doing badly! So today’s post is dedicated to Mr E’s mo and every mo bro for your efforts during Movember!

Movember (məʊˈvɛmbə) ~ a portmanteau word from moustache and November

Throughout November each year, Movember challenges men around the world to grow a moustache for the 30-days of November, thereby changing their appearance and the face of men’s health by raising vital funds for prostate and testicular cancer and mental health. What began 10 years ago with a group of 30 men, has become something of a global phenomenon! Spreading from Australia to New Zealand then Ireland, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Spain, the United Kingdom, Israel, South Africa, Taiwan, the United States and has since achieved global domination.

For any bride planning a November wedding marrying a (historically hairfree) moustache adorned groom may cause some consternation (I confess much as I admire his efforts, my preference is for a whisker free Mr E), but fear not, for I hope to prove with this post there is nothing as dapper as a mo……
