5 Perfect Hair Accessories for a Vintage Bride
Good morning lovelies! Well today sees the start of a new month (I can’t believe we’re in May already?!) and the end of another week, but before you head off for the weekend I have a post packed full of pretty for your delectation. In this week’s Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons we’re continuing the bridal accessories theme by looking at beautiful adornments for your wedding hair!…..
1. Crowns & Tiaras
I have had a passion, verging on obsession, for crowns (and we’re talking the sparkly kind….although I’d never say no to a floral halo either!) for some time now (and yes, Downton Abbey may have had something to do with it). So you can imagine my glee when I spotted them adorning brides on the Spring 2015 bridal runways and appearing in the top bridal accessory designers latest collections – it seems my call for a Crown revival was heard! And rightly so, for few bridal accessories ooze the opulence and glamour of a crown or tiara, they are the perfect accessory for the bride who wants to play Princess (or Lady Mary) for the day…..

2. Hair Vines
For a look that is a little more subtle but no less elegant, you could choose a hair vine, which also has the added benefit of being more versatile in how it is worn – across the forehead, like a hair band or across the back, with hair long and loose or finishing off an updo; one of these will look beautiful however you wear it!…..

4. Wax Flower Crowns
Although they’re not sparkly, chic wax flower crowns make a real style statement. Exquisitely ethereal and ever so delicate, these vintage treasures are becoming increasingly hard to find, as sadly they don’t appear to be made any longer, so be sure to snap it up if you happen across one you love!…..
