Wedding Inspiration with Romance & Refined Elegance at Swan House
I always know we’re in for a captivating treat when the creative talents of Archetype Studio Inc. and Sapphire Events come together! And today’s utterly romantic inspiration shoot, against the refined elegance of the stately Swan House, is no exception…..
“She always had that about her, that look of otherness, of eyes that see things much too far, and of thoughts that wander off the edge of the world.” Joanne Harris
Prepare to be completely swept off your feet by these fabulous images! Flawlessly styled with an ethereal vintage wedding gown by Gossamer, dusky pink stationery from Small Chalk that perfectly compliments the romantic tablescapes, a just picked bouquet in a palette of pink and peach by Gertie Maes and an elegant cake creation by Melissa’s Fine Pastries that is so exquisite I would find it almost impossible to cut.
Here’s the lovely Terilyn of Archetype Studio Inc to tell us a little bit more about the beautiful venue they chose for creating the shoot….. “We appreciate the history and story of the Inman Family’s Swan House just as much as its beauty. I loved walking through the house after the shoot! Swan House, traditionally known as one of the most recognized and photographed landmarks in Atlanta, is an elegant, classically styled mansion built in 1928 for the Edward H. Inman family, heirs to a cotton brokerage fortune. The mansion, designed by famed Atlanta architect Philip Trammell Shutze, provides a glimpse into the lifestyle of this Atlanta family during the 1920s and 1930s. Today, it is still the setting for beautiful weddings and celebration and May is one of the loveliest months as the roses are usually in bloom and the lawn is green. If I could get married again and again (to the same person of course), Swan House would certainly be on the top of my wedding venue list……..”
I couldn’t agree more….. after seeing this, Swan House would top my list of venues too! What a venue….and such lovely wedding inspiration! A big heartfelt thank-you to Koby & Terilyn Brown of Archetype for capturing it all so beautifully, and for allowing me to publish their shoot here on Chic Vintage Brides.
