Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons – Bouquets
Woo hoo for another weekend! Oh how the weeks are flying – that’s another one gone and tomorrow sees the start of March! I don’t know about you but I really don’t feel as though I ever caught up with this week, every day just seemed to race by and before I knew it, well it was time for another Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons. I do hope you loved the slightly new look to my last weekly roundup as much as I did. I am really enjoying just picking a theme and finding five of the very best for you. Last week my attention was firmly on the boys, this week it has been on flowers; and wow were there a gorgeous bunch of bouquets! But I have managed to choose my favourite five…..
1. Elegant Cascading Red Bouquet – from this Eclectic Art Deco Wedding Inspiration Shoot
I love cascading bouquets, they are opulent, dramatic and downright glamorous! And this one in the rich, dark ruby red with its mix of texture, flowers and foliage is particularly so.
2. Beautiful Autumn Bouquet in Shades of Peach – from this Pacific Northwest Autumn Inspiration Shoot
When you think of Autumn you think of golden yellows, rusty oranges and shades of red; which is why this Autumn bouquet in the most yummy palette of soft peach and cream, with just a hint of dark blueberry, really
3. Winter Wedding Bouquet – from this Winter Wedding
And how dreamy is this bouquet of pink peonies and antique yellow, with just a hint of red? Especially for a Winter wedding, full of rich pine green and red berries.
4. Dazzling Blue Bridesmaids Bouquet – from this Romantic Navy Blue & Lavender Winnipeg Wedding
I have always adored blue flowers, they are so sweet (I think it all started with picking forget-me-nots for my Nan) and of course dazzling blue is big trend for 2014 brides, it is the new emerald don’t you know!
5. Bright and Bold Summer Bouquet – from this Old Forest School Wedding Inspiration Shoot
It is not just the absolutely stunning red rose that I love about this bouquet. It is the fact that with its unstructured shape, bright primary colour palette and mix of flowers, it somehow manages to look both handpicked and absolutely perfectly styled.
So, which is your favourite – Cascading, Autumn, Winter, Blue or Bright & Bold?…..nope, I couldn’t choose just one!
Right, well have a wonderful weekend one and all, I am off to finish a glass of red with Mr E, Bodie B and an episode of Poirot.
