Zuhair Murad’s Stunning 2020 Bridal Collection
I think I may have a new favourite designer! If you’re a regular visitor to Chic Vintage Brides you may remember his 1930s inspired 2019 bridal collection, well Zuhair Murad has done it again and utterly wowed me (and the wedding world) with his offering for 2020. His royal wedding worthy bridal gowns have been inspired by the dramatic costumes of matadors, and flamenco dancers and are guaranteed to wow grooms and guests alike…..
The collection contains all of the signature details we’ve come to expect from this designer, but with a flamboyant twist that reflects the Spanish culture he drew inspiration from: elaborate beading and embroidery evoke the ornate embellishments of a torero’s suit, and the needlework on some designs reveal outlines of tiny fans. There are Cathedral-length mantillas becoming of a Spanish Senorita (or Princess!), whilst the signature capes that first drew me to Zuhair Murad, seem more than inspired by the matadors.
There are, as always in his collection, two-in-one looks aplenty, such as the embroidered column dress with a detachable over skirt, that give more than a nod to the resplendent femininity of Flamenco and will be perfect for dancing the night away in. Whilst details like feathers, pleated ruffles, and tiers add a playful whimsical element to his 2020 collection…..
See what I mean?? Stunning! Every single design makes me wish I could be a bride again! If you would like to see more from this fabulous designer do visit the Zuhair Murad website at www.zuhairmurad.com and be sure to stay up to date with all the latest news and collections by following him on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.
Or if it’s more from the collections for 2020 you’re yearning for, then be sure to check back here as I will be sharing a few of my favourites – as well as a roundup of some of the big trends later in the year.
