Blushing Beauty – Pretty Wedding Inspiration in Shades of Blush & Gold
Good morning lovelies! And how was your weekend? Ours felt decidedly Spring-like with warm sunny days, lambs in the fields and daffodils raising their sunny heads in the garden….it’s a lovely time of year! I realise that whilst I am looking forward to Spring many of you are shuddering at the thought of Autumn. So, I decided this week’s wedding inspiration board would be brimming with ideas in the prettiest palette just perfect for either season…..

Blush is the most beautiful of starting points for any wedding palette – and is so versatile! Here I have paired it with a warm grey and slate blue; but olive green, plum or black would work just as well. And it really is a colour that suits any season, warming up an Autumn palette and pretty as a picture for Spring. Mixing it with gold will give the whole proceedings a little opulence and glamour, whilst a splash of rose gold provides some additional romance…like it was needed! Blush in all of its shades is also such a flattering colour your bridesmaids are going to love it – and you for choosing it! But if any aren’t a blush girl, panic not, for mismatched bridesmaids continues to be the way to go for 2015 and I don’t think there is a better colour than blush for mismatching (just take a look at the bridesmaids in the inspiration board) Now I am not so daft as to think many grooms would wear blush (although I am sure some would look fab-u-lous in it!) but it is a great colour for lifting their suit, be it blue, black or grey; with a boutonniere, tie or pocket square in a contrasting shade.
