Wow, what a month October is proving to be – birthday celebrations, bridal fashion market and now…..well, some exciting news, which if you follow CVB on Facebook you might already know, but I am going to tell you again anyway! (I really want to shout it from the rooftop….but for my itsy bitsy fear of heights)

Anyway, its Friday, the end of another week, the weekend is at the door and its time for another Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons. Go pour yourself your favourite tipple and take a pew for my pick of the wedding posts this week sure to inspire and delight you….

1. Like this confetti filled engagement session from Priscila Valentina, which is possibly the most relaxed and fun (not to mention visually stunning) I have ever seen……

I so wish Mr E and I had done an Engagement Session!

2. Last week the whole wedding world was awash with the latest from the runways of NY Bridal Fashion Market (much of it about Vera Wang’s glorious rose pink collection – did you see it?) but this rather romantic number from the Belle Ivoire Collection from Australian based Designer Anna Campbell, with its pretty illusion neckline and cap sleeves is gorgeous…..

3. Autumn is my absolute favourite season! And this post, packed with 15 of the most fab fall wedding ideas, pretty much covers every reason why….. cosy blankets, roaring fires, comfort food, falling leaves, nature at its very best!

4. This 1920s Vintage Barn Wedding is proof yet again that the sun doesn’t have to shine on your big day for it to be perfect! Oh and I love the seriously sweet idea of a Memory Box, which the couple sealed as part of their ceremony – to be opened on their 10th Wedding Anniversary!

5. And now for the all important exciting news, that I woke up to this morning (poor Mr E had to put up with and indeed join in with much jumping around, whooping and hollering at stupid o’clock this morning) Chic Vintage Brides was named one of 10 Pinners to follow on Vogue Paris. For CVB to appear in the same list as blogs like Style Me Pretty, Green Wedding Shoes and Bridal Musings is one thing, but for it to appear in Vogue Paris (cue more whooping and hollering)….. well…. I am beyond chuffed…. speechless!
