Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons

It’s Friday, woo hoo and welcome to the weekend! How have you lovelies been spending your week? I have mostly been excitedly planning celebrations for Chic Vintage Bride’s 2nd birthday (more on that later) and wearing lipstick after this Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons, so far so good, I just need to master the art of applying on the go sans mirror!

Whilst blossoms may be blooming here in the southern hemisphere I know all of you lovely CVB followers up on the other side of the world are watching the leaves slowly turn and days get shorter (Autumn is my absolute favourite season) so I just had to share the most beautiful ideas for Fall weddings….

2. I agree with the lovely Sara over at Burnett’s Boards, there really is something so lovely and cosy about an Autumn Wedding, just look at her stunning Fall Inspiration Board in a rich palette of soft brown, pumpkin orange and gold…..who knew brown could look so romantic???

3. I love the multitude of ways of incorporating flowers into decor and fashion for using flowers for creating unqiuely beautiful, from floral arches to flower crowns and now necklaces! Jennifer Fujikawa created this DIY Floral Necklace tutorial, it would be perfect for bridesmaids, flowers girls or even brides as an alternative to a bouquet!

4. Fall with all its beautiful colours is the perfect season for a bold bride to shy away from the traditional ivory or white wedding dress. How about this stunning nude or blush gown from Vivian Luk Atelier? Vivian started out with Vera Wang (can’t you tell?) and her latest collection has been beautifully captured on a windswept Hong Kong Beach in this Inspiration Shoot by Alea Lovely…….
