This week’s Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons is a wink at pink 🙂 Regardless of trend, era, theme or religion, there is one colour guaranteed to lend an air of romance to any wedding and that is pink!

1. Where do I even begin with this magical sunrise wedding from Green Wedding Shoes – the incredible amphitheater National Park venue, the wedding breakfast (bagels and coffee – scrummy!) and the fabulous pink feather capelet, not to mention the incredibly generous story behind it (so worth a peek)….

2. Nothing says pretty like pastel pink, especially when mixed with bottle green and sea-foam, just take a look at this inspiration board from Love My Way to see what I mean…..

3. Back home in England I was a member of the National Trust (I know, old before my time) but it gave us free access to the most amazing arboretums and stately home gardens and reading about the Little Flower School Love Shoot on Snippet & Ink made me miss them a little. Then I caught sight of the gorgeous bridal shoot that ensued, the flowers are so swoon worthy!…..

4. I had to read this article on Bridal Musings to be convinced that these aren’t real roses! If you’re looking for DIY projects for your wedding, this coffee filter rose tutorial is definitely one to take a peek at (it could certainly save a few pennies!)….

5. Last but not least I had to share this Brooklyn Winery wedding on Style Me Pretty for the bride’s cute bolero and beautiful hair (I do love a bride with a daring hair colour!)

I think I have mentioned before that I have never been a pink girl….but these posts are enough to make me wish I was! What do you think of pink??
