It’s that time of the week again and this week’s Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons has more than a hint of fuchsia to it, as well as a fun walk down memory lane with a wedding shoot inspired by a film that this year is 25 years old….25 years, I can’t believe it.

1. This pretty as a picture Fuschia & Gold Inspiration Board from Magnolia Rouge had my heart a fluttering with all its pink peonies and that cute tiered wedding dress….

2. Polka Dot Bride had me impressed with the 2012 collection of bridesmaids dresses from Mrs Press – ‘Light Hearts’. A bohemian mix of vintage and quirkiness I love the colours, the patterns, the peplums, not to mention the fabulous magic garden backdrops by Kerrie Hess….

3. Speaking of magic, who remembers The Princess Bride?? It was (is) my favourite film and for many (too many) a year I was waiting for a Westley to whisper ‘as you wish’…. For anyone who remembers the film this wedding shoot from Green Wedding Shoes is wonderfully nostalgic, for anyone who doesn’t it is equally wonderfully inspirational….

4. I am so looking forward to our imminent sojourn to France that I am increasingly finding myself drawn to Provence infused (like my Lavender Inspiration Board) or rustically French weddings like this one on Magnolia Rouge….

5. Kiss The Groom reminds us of what it’s all about with some stirring song lyrics accompanying this sublime image For Better Or Worse….
