A Stylishly Retro Diner Engagement Shoot
Today’s retro Diner engagement shoot is the epitome of style and proof that all it takes to create the perfect e-sess is one happy couple, a meaningful location, some stylish outfits and a photographer who shares your vision. Take the lovely Jennifer & Jason, whose first date took place in a café, so where else could be more perfect to mark their engagement – and get a little practice in front the camera? Nicole Sarah was there to capture every loved up look and smile beautifully…..
I just adore all that red! And how fabulous is her victory rolled updo?? Oh how I wish I was able to create something as lovely with my hair! I will hand you over to lovely bride-to-be Jennifer for a few words about the proposal and their love story “Jason and I got engaged in Disneyland on my favorite childhood ride “Toads Great Adventures”. Growing up I was obsessed with the Wind in the Willows and loved “Mr. Toad” one of the characters in the book, to the point that my mom nicked named me toad. My mom had a ring box made that looks like a toad wearing a crown like the “Frog Prince” for the day I married my prince. Our daughter Elizabeth was in on the proposal and pretended to take a picture while Jason asked me to marry him…..it’s all caught on camera and it’s a day the 3 of us won’t forget.
From the first moment that we meet on our first date, that took place in a café over tea and cake!, we knew that we were meant to be. Things happened naturally the conversation happened with ease and before we knew it the shop was closing. We both left with giant smiles on our faces and they haven’t left since!”
A big thankyou to the happy couple Jennifer & Jason, and the lady behind the camera Nicole Sarah, for sharing this stylish engagement shoot with us.
