A Rustic Vintage Australian Wedding from CK Metro Photography
I have been looking forward to sharing today’s rustic, vintage wedding ever since I first spotted it on Darren from CK Metro Photos blog. Bride Kaycee’s style is simply swoonworthy, her glamorous pillbox hat the cherry on her dress pie! Her coat and frock 1950s inspired wedding dress in mocha satin (you know how I love a bride that shys away from the traditional ivory) with cape collar, created by a close friend no less, made my knees weak. Oh and the ring bearers are absolutely adorable, what I really love though is the fact that it is packed with contributions from family and friends…..
The man behind the lens Darren said of Kaycee and Dwayne’s relaxed but stylish day “Well what can I say about these two beautiful people, my wife and I have known Kaycee for some time and it has been a pleasure getting to know Dwayne as well, when Kaycee asked me to do the photography for their wedding, I was super excited, as well as a little nervous, there is something about photographing a friends wedding that can be a little scary LOL, I have to say that I had an awesome time, even though I was the photographer for the wedding, I managed to feature in a couple of shots if you look closely. Kaycee and Dwayne were married out at highfields on a beautifully overcast day, perfect conditions. How awesome does everyone look, I love the vintage twist with this wedding, so cool and so perfect !!!”
