British born Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig’s Marchesa fashion empire, has been defined by elegant and extravagant designs  that fuse exquisite detailing with supreme femininity.

For their fall bridal collection, the design duo were inspired by the allure of “a secret garden,” said Chapman, which they translated into handmade floral appliqués, re-embroidered lace and beaded embroideries. The collection has a neckline and silhouette sure to make every bride swoon from the classical strapless bodice atop a full skirt for the romantic wanting to be a princess for the day to a flirty short design for the city chic bride…….

The lace they use is gossamer fine, absolutely beautiful, like delicate webs in the morning after a dew……and I love the floral details, much more subtle than the bold roses we saw in Vera Wang‘s collection!
