Top 10 Spring Wedding Colours for 2016 from Pantone – Part II
Last week I shared 5 of Pantone’s Top 10 Colours for Spring 2016 and I was overjoyed, but unsurprised, to see you loved them just as much as I do – although you preferred this hue to my favourite Serenity! (in case you missed them, you can catch up here, where you will also find the low down on who Pantone are and why the heck you should care what colours they picked) Well, today I am back with Part II of their perfect Spring palette……
Usually I love Pantone‘s picks from the moment I see them, but it’s fair to see I needed some convincing when it came to these 5 shades! Moving away from the pretty, airy hues in Part I, this mix of poppy brights and muted neutrals seemed anything but romantic or wedding worthy upon first glance. Upon closer inspection however….. well, just take a look at how they can be used to create an elegant, vintage celebration…..
Limpet Shell
A paler and slightly more romantic version of last Spring’s Scuba Blue, Limpet Shell 13-4810 is a clear and fresh shade of turquoise that evokes the sea. Perfect for mismatching with other shades of blue, or contrasting against a bright poppy pink, it is a versatile and pretty choice for Spring…..

Lilac Gray
Neutrals have been a big trend for weddings over the last few years and with lovely shades like Lilac Gray 16-3905 and Iced Coffee 15-1040 (which is coming up later) this trend seems set to continue through 2016. I love that this year Pantone have added a hint of lilac to their choice of gray, making it all the more perfect for a wedding!!

Fiesta
A strong and fiery orange red, Fiesta 17-1564 is sure to add an unforgettable pop to any Spring wedding! But I think it would lend itself especially well to a fabulous 1930s or 1940s infused celebration, don’t you?

Iced Coffee
Soft, subtle and earthy, Iced Coffee 15-1040 seems to be a shade better suited for an Autumn wedding. Mixed with precious metals and soft ivories however it makes a sophisticated and chic choice for a Spring celebration….. a possibility for colour of the year perhaps??….. Oh and if you love this shade then you might want to pop and take a look at yesterday’s lush Spring wedding inspiration shoot!

Green Flash
Green Flash 15-0146 is the epitome of Spring: warm, fresh and vibrant. It is a radiant hue that is definitely best suited to pops of decor – think flowers, foliage and ribbon rather than bridesmaids dresses!

I don’t know about you, but what with these and the fabulous 2016 wedding dress collections we are beginning to glimpse, I can not wait to start seeing your weddings next year!
