Peach & Blueberry Dream – Inspiration for a Romantic Peach and Dusky Blue Wedding
It only seems like yesterday that I was embracing Autumn and yet it is already feeling decidedly Spring-like here – lambs frolic in the fields, the trees are turning pink with blossom and we have been without an electric blanket for 3 weeks! 🙂 So with balmier days beckoning I have decided to give, what started out as a Winter Inspiration board, something of a warmer tone……

With soft romantic peach and a dark dusky blue (gorgeous for the Groom!) this is the perfect palette for a spring or summer wedding. I imagine an outdoor ceremony, but with a barn (or perhaps a rustic restaurant) wedding breakfast allowing celebrations to continue as the day draws to a close and the temperature cools.

Keeping decorations, flowers and bridesmaids neutral with just accents of peach would allow a bride to break from the traditional ivory dress in favour of perhaps one of these beauties from Vera Wang’s Fall 2012 Collection…..
I adore the structure of Vera Wang’s gowns, they create such stunning silhouettes. But if colour and strapless aren’t for you, how about Lark from her Fall 2013 Collection with its floral lace overlay and illusion neckline…..
For a dress a little less curve hugging but equally as opulent I love Kira from Hayley Paige’s Fall 2013 Collection
The sweetheart cute lace bodice is super pretty and can be glammed up with the detachable lace cap sleeve bolero that is offered with it and forms the most beautiful keyholes in the front and the back…..
Or make the most of being a Spring bride with this gorgeous long sleeved gown from Elie Saab’s Spring 2013 Collection for Pronovias, the elaborate lace details reminds me of delicate spring blossom…..
Or the cap sleeved Monseau, with its flourishing lace applique creating the most exquisite texture……
