Utterly Gorgeous Coloured Gowns for the Unconventional Bride
For me, having a vintage inspired wedding was about trying to create a look personal and unique to me – when I was younger I was adamant I would get married in black, so obviously my wedding was always destined to be unique! When planning our wedding I did consider challenging convention and going with a coloured wedding dress, but I am afraid to say I found it all too difficult and chose the easy Ivory option. But after my perfectly Vintage Inspired Wedding I came across this incredibly inspirational real life wedding bridal perfection on 100 Layer Cake
(go to 100 Layer Cake to see all the lovely photos – how cute is the matching cake topper!)
Oh so gorgeous and glamorous bride Phillipa could not look more beautiful in her glittering, green, Jenny Packham gown – it is simply deco divine! And it got me thinking, I can’t be the only bride to be who considered not conforming, so what is out there for those brides playing with the idea of shying away from the traditional ivory or white?
I realise I may sound a bit biased, but for any bride looking for a glamorous, deco inspired, coloured wedding dress, Jenny Packham is a good place to start!

I must admit to being amazed, and impressed, with the selection and choice of unconventional, coloured wedding dresses available, it’s a clear sign of the demand for them – for brides today wanting to create a unique look and wedding that expresses their style and personality, they have plenty of gowns and dresses to choose from!
