Following my blissful afternoon of Audrey the other weekend and my subsequent Style Icon post I began to muse on how a bride might channel the great Miss Hepburn and infuse their big day with some Breakfast at Tiffany’s style….. and after a few hours surfing the wide world of the web I pieced together a couple of rather fabulous (even if I do say so myself), hopefully inspirational, Mood Boards. My first is a very dramatic and elegant monochrome, ideal for Winter weddings when these striking colours would photograph so well!

For the bride I found this stunning Jesus Peiro dress, so reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn (even the model reminds me of her!) It is actually one I tried when looking for THE one – if only our venue had been big enough for the gorgeous train….sigh….. Anyway, that was just over a year ago now, so this particular design may be hard to find, however there is a very similar design in the latest collection!

Or, if Monochrome isn’t for you, try incorporating the divine and timelessly elegant Tiffany Blue, for a fresh look – perfect for a Spring or Summer wedding!  I love the retro 1950s look at the moment – it’s so cute, relaxed and fun!

I love love love that bridesmaid dress from Eden, it is such a pretty colour and the floral detail is oh so sweet! Here’s a little close up……

I truly believe these themes will be as timeless as the film and the star who inspired them!
