Today’s wedding inspiration shoot took place in the beautiful state of North Carolina but abounds with European elegance, inspired by the architecture and old world charm of the venue that serves as its backdrop, The Bradford. The lush florals, splashes of gold and vintage details create a rich and romantic visual feast, and all in the prettiest palette of peach and purple!

Before we jump straight in to all the gorgeous details, here are a few words from photographer Alaina Ronquillo… “The Bradford is a charming European inspired wedding venue with a breathtaking terrace. The goal was to create something romantic, elegant and fresh as we prepared for spring around the corner. Our colors were soft pastels including shades of pink, lavender, dusty blue and peach. Cottage Luxe’s European parquet table paired with two Alexandrian chairs fit the look we were going for. Touches of gold from the candlesticks to the flatware tied in with the natural tones of the house.

The florals from North Raleigh Florist were so elegant and lively. Our table arrangement featured roses, greenery and baby kale. And hand painted ribbons fell gracefully from the bride’s bouquet. We wanted the day to imitate an actual wedding day. So we started with the details all the way to those romantic sunset photos. The bride’s simple tulle dress from Gilded Bridal was perfect for that golden dusk light.

My favorite part of the shoot though was seeing our models, who are actually engaged, together! When they saw each other for the first time, you could definitely feel the love. The way they looked and smiled at each other was so precious. And at the end of the day, that is the most important aspect of the wedding; the love a couple shares for each other!”
