Claire Pettibone’s Still Life Bridal Collection
There is literally no other Bridal designer on earth like Claire Pettibone (I love Vera Wang for her boldness, Monique Lhuillier for her romantic drama and Jenny Packham for her deco decadence) but Claire Pettibone with her entrancing wedding dresses, never fails to take my breath away – and make me wish I could get married a dozen times a year! Her bridal style is so unique and since her beautifully bohemian and Edwardian inspired Beau Monde Collection my heart has been hers (you can see all of the posts featuring CP and her wedding dresses here). With each new collection I believe Claire Pettibone has achieved bridal perfection, only for every one to be surpassed by the next and with her ‘Still Life’ collection the lady has done it again…..
“When I design a collection I strive to make a woman feel as special as the delicate creation she is wearing; take her to a enchanted time and place where women are princesses and magnificent goddesses. In today’s modern world we need to pause and indulge in beauty.” – Claire Pettibone
Inspired by Dutch still-life artist Rachel Ruysch (the lady who painted that exquisite floral backdrop), Claire Pettibone sent out yet another hauntingly beautiful, vintage-inspired collection. Filled with the whimsical necklines, delicate layers of lace and florals with just a hint of colour we have come to expect; there was also a touch of drama with the bold almost gothic ‘Raven’……
Claire Pettibone stockists can be found here. I am so envious of any bride who gets to wear one of these beauties – please, please send photos to [email protected]!
And as if Claire Pettibone wedding dresses and lingerie aren’t exciting enough I now hear rumours of an exclusive Stationery collection for Wedding Paper Divas?! Tell me more, tell me more I say!
