After welcoming Autumn earlier this month with that romantic modern vintage inspiration board in serenity blue and neutrals, I thought it was time to take a look at some other colour combinations for the Fall season. There are so many reasons to love Autumn weddings, the warm light, pumpkins and smores around an open fire being some. But colour is surely one of the best? For when every leaf is a flower, you are guaranteed a beautiful wedding – whatever your style, theme or budget. Dusky Shades of Purple

Deep dusky purples also make a beautiful alternative to the more traditional fall colours! Paired with blush and navy they make for a feminine and romantic wedding, and are just perfect for a floral filled affair.

Autumn Berries & Leaves

This colour palette is the perfect mix of fall hues, neutrals and romance. Somehow managing to be both stylishly masculine and beautifully feminine it would be as popular with the bridesmaids as it will the grooms in terms of colours for their attire…… Oh and ripe figs and fresh berries make the perfect topper to any wedding cake – take a look here to see what I mean!

Autumn Sunset

Nothing says Autumn quite like reds and burnished golds of fall leaves and this colour combination captures those shades perfectly, don’t you think? And I just LOVE how the contrasting pops of coral and turquoise teal gives an otherwise traditional palette a contemporary twist! Vibrant, fun and super pretty it is perfect for a romantic wedding at any venue…..

Chartreuse & Copper

Wedding colour palettes have a tendency to be quite feminine, but this combination is refreshingly masculine with just the peachy orange adding a hint of pretty. And inspired by the turning leaves it would be oh so perfect for a garden wedding….. just be sure to provide blankets for your guests for when the temperature drops!

Of course golden shades are the classic colour choice for a Fall wedding for a reason! This palette just couldn’t be any lovelier. The ombre shades of red, orange and yellow are the quintessential colour palette for an Autumn wedding, but I wanted to show it can be so much more than just trees and leaves by giving it a more elegant, romantic and beachy  (yep, beachy!) feel……

Fall Fancy

Whilst pink may not be the first colour you think of for a Fall wedding, I wanted to show that this shade, especially when mixed with gold and a deep autumnal red can be a romantic addition to a palette for an Autumn bride. It would be sure to look lovely in any venue, but I can’t help imagining a marquee wedding with king tables and string lights…..*swoon*

And last but not least this sophisticated colour palette has an air of gothic romance that would add opulence and drama to any Fall wedding. This look is all about the contrast – those natural Autumn hues with an icy grey and dusky black, velvet (its a big trend for this Autumn Winter!) with tulle, ornate design details in a simple setting…..
