The historic Palo Alto Plantation in Onslow County takes centre stage and provides the perfect backdrop to this super romantic Southern affair. Showcasing summery floral arrangements with a ‘just-picked’ feel, a beautifully styled tablescape, and a drizzle cake deliciously topped with seasonal berries; everything about this styled shoot is utterly charming…..

Here’s a few words from photographer Danielle Hutchinson  to tell us all about it…. “When I began to put together this styled bridal session, I had a vision. I was looking for a venue that embodied old world southern charm and the Palo Alto Plantation did not disappoint. Sitting on 3 acres of land and surrounded by quaint farmland, this historical mansion is complete with its sweeping porches and farmhouse tables. Details of lace, chiffon, pink roses and gems lend to the southern appeal, embodying the local aesthetic.

Angelina of Sugar, Cream and Peonies provided the caramel drip cake covered with seasonal berries. The lush florals were the creation of Stephanie Watson, Owner of the Palo Alto Plantation. Silk Ribbon from Nettles Textiles wraps the bouquet. The bride looks gorgeous in a flowing chiffon and lace gown, the design of Jillian Fellers, with a headband from  RomanticArt Life and hair and makeup provided by Allison Barlow. Local Artisan Melissa Tyson designed and created the pink gem engagement ring whilst Pirouette Paper Company hand lettered the paper goods and invitation suite.”
