Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons

I think it is fair to say Summer officially arrived in the bay today, it reached a scorching 30°C – definitely time to search out the sunnies and bathers! Fingers crossed it is here to stay for the weekend….although, I still can’t get used to Christmas shopping in the summer, despite this being my third Christmas in New Zealand. I will have to crack open the Love Actually and sherry to get me in the festive spirit! Anyway, as all talk has turned to the weekend it can only mean one thing, time for my pick of this weeks wedding posts……

1. Starting with this beautiful inspiration board pairing petrol with chartreuse over at Magnolia Rouge…..Kate just has such an eye for a classy palette!

2. Oh if only I wasn’t already married! Because seriously this elopement by Jeremiah & Rachel Photography just makes me speechless with its beauty and desperate to recreate every pretty little detail – especially the glam wedding breakfast in a tent! (yes, a tent!)

3. From a magical woodland elopement to a chic city wedding. This intimate Dublin I Do by Lisa O’Dwyer with its historic buildings and classic style is timelessly elegant……

4. The mixed berry palette of this inspiration shoot by Anastasiya Belik Photography is mouthwateringly gorgeous and packed full of the prettiest flowers it is positively brimming with floral ideas for your big day (if you think this bouquet is scrummy, just wait until you see the centrepiece!!)……

5. I think I saved the best for last because this Art Deco inspired wedding captured by Benji Haisch is so elegantly styled and artfully finished that it is hard to believe it was almost entirely DIYed by the super talented bride Jade! From the floral arrangements and ceremony backdrop, to the invitations and centerpieces, all handmade, along with her beautiful blush dress (which she managed to do in 3 weeks and for $200!) I have no idea how Jade did it all, but it is most definitely one inspirational wedding and inspiring bride…..

Absolutely wow isn’t it? I think Jade might actually be wonder woman! (but shhh, because obviously super hero, secret identity and all that)

Well that’s another week gone – only 2½ until Christmas!!! Have a fabulous weekend lovelies!
