Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons

Can you believe it is June already? Where is this year going?? We will soon be half way through (and counting down to Christmas) Friday means it is Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons, my top 5 posts from my week’s wandering around the wedding web; and this week I have some of the most glorious real weddings to inspire and enchant you…..

1. I have made no secret of my love of small weddings- I firmly believe you don’t need to have lots of guests or expensive details to have a gorgeous wedding; all you really need is a naturally beautiful setting, meaningful details and the people closest to you! And that’s exactly what bride & groom Kelly & Bryce kept in mind when planning their Intimate Ojai Backyard Wedding – ‘simplicity and family’…..

2. This Hollywood inspired wedding is super glam and packed full of accents reminiscent of an old Hollywood movie theatre, and an elegant colour scheme with splashes of red, black and white…..

3. I can’t think of anything more romantic than an elopement, except maybe an elopement at a spot as stunning as this Big Sur wedding (oh and just look at the bride’s Victorian-esque high necked gown)…..

4. I just had to share this particular photo from this incredible Vintage Mexican-fiesta inspired wedding – bright and bold in colour and full of joy, with the most stylish couple (not many grooms could get away with a pink jacket) and a barn ceremony where the bride and groom stood in a circle of rose petals…..

5. But when it comes to pretty delicate details and the sweetest love story (starting when the bride & groom were just teenagers!) this romantic Tuscan inspired wedding has it all – including a backyard ceremony under an arbor created from the bride’s childhood tree swing…. and need I say how much I am loving the bride’s tiara??…..

Right, that’s it I am off to write a tiara post!

Happy weekend everyone,
