A Romantic Gothic Wedding Inspiration Shoot
Ooh do I have something special for you today! Dark yet romantic and with more than a hint of Gothic drama this beautifully moody garden wedding inspiration shoot, with bridal wear from Emily Riggs and dreamy floral creations from Ponderosa & Thyme, all captured by the brilliant Maria Lamb, is utterly bewitching…..
And more than a little bit perfect for the weekend’s festivities don’t you think? It shows just how to style a Halloween wedding romantic rather than spooky! From the elegant stationery by Rachel Jacobson with its Victorian-esque black rose envelope liners and graceful calligraphy, to that black skirt that walks just the right side of gothic thanks to that beautiful long sleeve lace top, both from Emily Riggs Bridal; this shoot strikes the perfect balance of drama and romance. The grey vintage velvet ring box from The Mrs. Box adds the necessary opulence and the simple white iced square wedding cake from Windflower Cakes creates the perfect contrast…. All together it is completely captivating and my idea of heaven!
Isn’t it lovely?? And so absolutely perfect for a Halloween wedding? I adore that black skirt mixed with the delicate lace of the top! And the colour and texture of that bouquet is just swoonworthy! Thank-you so much to Maria Lamb for capturing every stunning detail just perfectly, as well as being kind enough to let me publish it on Chic Vintage Brides. You can see more of Maria’s photography over on her website marialamb.co and by following her on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. And a big thanks also to the whole creative team (who you will find links to listed below) for creating such a vision of gothic gorgeousness!
