An Organic Hand-Tied Bridal Bouquet in Blush, Peach & Marsala

I have the perfect thing to follow up yesterday’s romantic inspiration shoot, the latest  wedding bouquet recipe from CVBs favourite florist,Magdalen Hill‘s Toni McGregor. And it’s a gobsmackingly gorgeous bridal bouquet, created in the softest palette of peach, with splashes of striking Marsala, Pantone’s colour of the year. Natalie McNally has beautifully captured the entire creative process and Toni has kindly shared the full recipe, so be sure to have pen, paper and pinning finger at the ready before scrolling any further…..

Here are a few words from Toni about the bride and the blooms of this beautiful bouquet.…. “One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to know a couple and creating florals that reflect them both. When I met Danielle she had decided that blush blooms would be the perfect complement to the mint green her bridesmaids would wear. Ash, a keen deer stalker, wanted a rustic vibe to capture his interests, so we explored how we would pull these two ideas together while keeping the overall look elegant and pretty.

Some time had passed from our initial plan being put in place, when Danielle showed me a photograph of a bouquet Ash had sent her. It consisted of deep reds and oranges, she loved it and it had a special meaning that she wanted to bring through to the blooms. On the day Danielle carried a relaxed bouquet with a combination of Lisianthus, Jana spray roses and field chrysanthemums in blush tones; Hypericum berries, beautiful peach Avalanche and full Campanella roses provided softer tones of orange, whilst depth was added with the punchy deep Marsala reds of the carnations and standard field Chrysanthemums. Acacia and gum escaping from the bouquet relaxed the combination and maidenhair fern added soft graceful movement. The varying bloom sizes teamed with berries and assorted textural foliage made for a soft elegant rustic ensemble.”
