Summery Mint & Peach – A Romantic Colour Palette for a Relaxed Wedding

I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since I first thought of creating this board! Inspired by Pantone‘s luscious Lucite Green, it is fun, fresh, and oh so perfect for Summer….. I think it was worth the wait!

Featuring pretty shades of mint and peach this colour palette would be just perfect for making the most of the summer sun with a romantic but relaxed outdoor wedding. Just imagine all your friends and loved ones sitting on a lawn (or a beach) under a white marquee raising a glass to the new husband and wife! Keep the feeling casual by setting Farmhouse style tables for the reception decorated with simple centrepieces and homely place settings. Such soft pretty shades will also be super flattering for your bridesmaids. Or if you would sooner find a complimenting colour to pair with this palette, grey or ivory would look gorgeous – in fact you could mix & match all 4 colours for a really cute look that your bridesmaids will love you for! Oh and if you find yourself tight on budget, you can always save a few pennies with a fruit wedding cake topper – I love how cute the peach atop some yummy cream cheese frosting looks!

And if you’re wondering “what about the groom?”, I would choose a lovely light grey to keep the look smart but casual. For a more formal celebration you could always choose a 3 piece suit, allowing him and his groomsmen to take off their jackets and still look dapper in a waistcoat – after the ceremony of course. Or for a really relaxed feel you just can’t go wrong with a crisp white shirt (short sleeved or rolled sleeves) paired with grey trousers and suspenders!

For other wedding colour palettes and inspiration boards perfect for Summer, take a look at this romantic palette of golden yellow and pink, or go bright and bold with red, white and blue, or how about a spot of luxury with a Tuscany inspired palette of green and gold, or if you want something a little different take a peek at this unusual colour combination for a beach wedding!
