‘Meadow Dreaming’ the Beautiful New Collection of Bridal Shoes from Emmy London

EMMY LONDON

The heavenly heels of Emmy London have long been a favourite of mine (I sadly only discovered them after my own NYE wedding, or I would have most certainly been an Emmy bride) and yours, with Emmy shoes consistently some of your favourite pins on Pinterest! They have an inimitable way of perfectly combining the glamour of eras past, with the sophistication and, most importantly, comfort we modern brides demand. So unveiling a new collection of their’s always gives me goosebumps, and ‘Meadow Dreaming’ is everything we have come to expect from this brand and more – featuring exquisite embellishments, pretty pastel shades of suede, elegant heels and fancy flats; these aren’t just bridal shoes, they are works of art!

Meadow Dreaming

Inspired by her love of the English country meadow, beautiful wild grasses and florals, Emmy London’s latest collection is beautifully timeless and feminine. Each piece from the collection is playfully romantic, created using the softest suede with dainty bloom and leaf embroidery. Think secret gardens and rolling fields dappled with sunlight and natural flowers in a pretty pastel colour palette with fine metallic detailing and intricate sparkle.

Celebrating the beauty of English summertime, ‘Meadow Dreaming’ is the epitome of classic Emmy London contemporary yet timeless style. Key pieces feature signature elaborate trims using delicate stitching, flat sequins and ornate glass beadwork alongside gold embroidery upon sumptuous blush suede. The collection sees the introduction of new seasonal tones for day-to-evening looks paired with show-stealing statement embellishment.

Emmy Scarterfield, Creative Director says: “I love the simplicity of wild grasses and flowers, the hypnotic swaying movement and delicate riot of colour felt like the perfect backdrop to my new collection. I looked to the breath-taking beauty and intricacy of glasshouse formations to create a modern evolution of the brand’s iconic beaded details.”
