English born but based in Sydney, it is really no surprise that Karen Willis Holmes is one of Australia’s top bridal designers. With her unfaltering attention to detail and focus on exceptional fit she has established a reputation for offering trend conscious women their perfect wedding gown (I have long been a fan,  you can read all about when I first discovered her, almost 3 whole years ago, here and see her 2013 collection here) With 14 years in the industry she knows what brides want and prides herself on exceeding rather than meeting their expectations. Her gowns celebrate the spirit of today’s stylish and sophisticated modern bride – all with a Karen Willis Holmes twist. In just the few years that I have followed and loved her, the brand has grown with each and every new collection – and the latest is no exception. We are talking seriously swoon-worthy silhouettes (that remain just the right side of sexy), the most beautifully delicate fabrics exquisitely embellished with embroidery, diamantes and sprinklings of sequins; and unusual, fashion forward necklines.

The KWH Collection is a sparkly, sequin-fest of fabulously form fitting gowns designed for the modern bride dreaming of a glamorous wedding day look at an affordable price. The gowns are designed in Sydney by Karen and hand beaded in India by a team of artisans. This collection may be entirely ready to wear and can be purchased off the rack (in standard sizes just like normal fashion clothes) but there is no scrimping on style or quality …..

These glamorous gowns just scream old Hollywood to me – can’t you imagine Bette Davis or Joan Crawford sashaying across the silver screen in one?

KWH BESPOKE

This collection allows brides to design their own wedding dress by pairing luxurious lace and tulle dresses with a range of slips and trains, that together create romantic, elegant and unique signature looks. It is perfect for the bride who wants a wedding gown with hand crafted couture quality and fit; but with the price and ease of a ready to wear wedding dress. Each gown is designed and individually made with love at the KWH studio in Sydney Australia and just oozes sophistication…..
