An Exquisite Jane Austen Inspired Bridal Shoot
EDEN WILLOW PHOTOGRAPHY
I am sure I have mentioned before how much I adore Jane Austen – her words have long charmed and delighted me in a way no modern author ever has, and I used to drag Mr E to her house in Chawton at least once a year when we lived in England. So I am sure you can imagine my glee when this elegant bridal shoot from Eden Willow Photography dropped into my inbox – it captures the romance conveyed in Jane’s novels perfectly….
Here is Renee, of Eden Willow Photography, to tell you in her own words a little bit about the shoot and the inspiration behind it “Jane Austen’s writing has been something that has inspired me for much of my life. I fell in love first with Colin Firth’s portrayal of Mr. Darcy (who wouldn’t!), but quickly discovered I was more enraptured by the Mr. Darcy on paper. I wanted to bring this love of my now well-worn novels to life in a way that might inspire the brides I am honored to serve as a wedding photographer. I collaborated with an incredibly amazing team of vendors to put together this lovely shoot and their talent is undeniable. The details all came together in the most stunning way, but really my heart behind this shoot is not just to showcase beautiful details, but to encourage brides and grooms to take a little time out of their wedding morning to enjoy some quiet, sip on a fresh berry spritzer, and perhaps even write a letter to their soon-to-be partner for life.” Such a lovely idea – something I did (through tears) on the morning of my wedding, all be it not quite as beautifully as in this shoot……
*sigh* doesn’t it make you want to go and watch Pride & Prejudice??? And how lovely is the lace on that Romantique by Claire Pettibone dress? (see more from the beautiful collection here) Thankyou to the whole fabulous team listed below for creating this heavenly shoot. And especially to the ridiculously talented Renee of Eden Willow Photography for imagining and capturing everything so perfectly, and for allowing me to share it with you here.
