My love of all things Monique Lhuillier, is no secret. Her signature glamorous red-carpet-ready gowns and ethereal wedding dresses have been the ones to look out for many a season and I for one have waited for each collection with bated breath. With her Fall 2013 collection unveiled at this month’s New York Fashion Week the designer, already no stranger to opulence, truly upped the luxury with lustrous fabrics, intricate embroidery and featuring the most fabulous jewel tones…..
Whilst not strictly speaking a Bridal Collection I can not resist sharing the designer’s latest crop of stunners, a true feast for gown-swooning eyes, an Aladdin’s cave of gorgeousness…..
In addition to the trademark floor-length, silhouette forming gowns we are so used to seeing from Monique Lhuillier the Fall 2013 Collection also features an array of new shapes and lengths – from shift to tulle layered trousers via chic and cute tea length…..
In the geometric shapes, fur and feathers, it is also easy to see an infusion of Art Deco…..I love it! Could this be her greatest collection yet?? What do you think? Feeling inspired by the jewel tones? They would be Autumn or Winter perfection for Bridesmaids! Or feeling the Art Deco influence with furs and feathers?
