As a Jenny Packham bride, there will always be a little piece of my heart devoted to her. This lady has such a way of designing and cutting a gown that makes it impossible to describe the instant sense of glamour and grace you feel as the soft, sumptuous fabric of one of her designs slides down your body. Emerging from the changing room that first time I felt like waltzing down the boutique!
So, the release of a much anticipated new JP collection is always enough to set my pulse a racing and Spring 2013 was no disappointment….
Ever so slightly Downton-esque aren’t they? (or I may just be completely obsessed) Typically Jenny Packham the collection clearly shows signs of inspiration from the 1930s, featuring the cutest cap sleeves and high necklines for a demure vintage look, but with more silk chiffon and less satin she has created a beautifully delicate, ethereal collection.
Exquisitely and elaborately embellished as always the 2013 collection also features some beautifully patterned fabric as well as layers, ruffles and sweet floral adornments. I love the almost corsage look of the delicate nude florals on Hyacinth’s belt….
I love the sleek one shouldered Freesia, with its swathes of fabric cleverly cinching in the waist and creating the most beautiful silhouette! And the simple but sexy halterneck Marigold…..
It is little wonder that she is a firm favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge – didn’t she just look stunning in that Teal Jenny Packham last week??
Jenny Packham‘s Spring 2013 Collection will be available to buy from September/October 2012…. lucky lucky 2013 brides!

Hi,
I love your website!!!!!
I am getting married in January and love the Spring 2013 Jenny Packham collection – you have great taste…. Where can I buy her dresses? I’m in Melbourne, Australia.
Regards,
Tracy
Hi Tracy,
so pleased you love CVB!
Thank-you so much for your kind words
Jenny Packham dresses are just so fab aren’t they, I adored every single one I tried on. JP has 3 stores listed
Le Louvre in South Yarra, Helen Rodrigues in Sydney and Elle in Perth. I hope one of these boutiques will be able to help you.
All the best finding the dress of your dreams

Hi Amy,
I am getting married in April and am doing sort of a budget wedding. I’m not sure if I can afford one of these but a girl can dream! I’m in Manhattan and was wondering if you knew of a store here in the city and possibly what the range of prices are for these dresses. Thanks so much, love the website!
Michelle
Hi Michelle!
Enjoy every second of planning the wedding, the exciting build up is all part of the big day! You’re in luck because there are 6 Jenny Packham stockists in New York, take a look at the Store Locator in the Shop section of JP’s Bridal website to find out which one is closest/best for you. Jenny Packham dresses are priced based on their embellishments, materials and cut – so whilst they are certainly not cheap, they are worth it!! (of course I may be slightly biased as a JP bride myself) I had the same dilemma as you over the price and I found my solution in the pre-owned market. There are great sites such as Still White and Pre Owned where you can either look for a bargain, or sell your dress after your big day (if you can bring yourself to part with it).
Congratulations
I hope this helps. Good Luck with the search – I’d love to know which dress you choose!

Hello Amy,
My heart breaks every time I see a JP dress as I adore each of them, and I do not think my dress budget will be able to afford one. The minute I came across her wedding dress designs, I knew instantly I had found my match! I am just about to start my wedding dress exploration, and know in my heart I will have to try one on…Could you give an estimate as to her dress price range? I live in the US, and have heard they are more expensive here than elsewhere, is this true? Right now, I am in love with her 2013 Dentelle. At this point, I do not know how other dresses will compare, I am sure you understand
Best,
Sommer
Hi Sommer,
Don’t despair! Whilst Jenny Packham dresses certainly are not cheap, if you know no other dress will do (and I know how you feel) then there are a ways to make them more affordable. If you want to get an idea of price the best thing to do is visit your local stockists, because the price will vary greatly depending on the design and the boutique – you never know, one may be having a sample sale! Otherwise, it is worth checking out some of the great pre-owned wedding dress sites such as Still White and Pre Owned – where you can either look for a bargain, or investigate how much you may be able to sell your dress for after your big day (if you can bring yourself to part with it). I hope this helps, Good Luck!

*Dentelle…
How my computer does not correct for JP styles, I will never understand…
Where can I buy JP in Baton Rouge or New Orleans, Louisiana?
So in LOVE with the Dentelle!!
