Bird Cake Toppers! I don’t know what it is about them, they have won me over with their sweet, rustic charm. They’re a little bit kitsch, so cute and they make me smile!

When planning our wedding we spent AGES looking for something to top our cake – something romantic, significant to us, something we could keep, (and not too expensive)…. I wish I had found some of these bird toppers a year earlier, because in the end we had nothing!

I love the love bird cake toppers and I was wondering where I could get them. My favorite is the spindly legged. Please let me know!
They are just so adorable aren’t they – and the spindly legged ones are quite elegant. Ann Wood is the master of these Sweetheart cake toppers (go to the Sweethearts page to see her full range)
There are also a number of stores on Etsy that sell them (54 in fact) so take a look on there to see if you can spot exactly what you’re looking for.
Purple Madison do some very similar to the ones I featured and This Thing We Do also offer them.

I am looking for the Emilie Friday bird cake toppers! I have tried contacting her and I don’t think she posts new items on Etsy anymore. Is there any way to get one of these?
Oh no! I think you’re right about Emilie Friday – it is such a shame because her Bird Cake Toppers were quite unique. I have searched everywhere and have been unable to find any the same or even similar.
I think now your best option may be to appraoch one of the other felt bird makers and ask if they could make something similar – you never know your luck!
