Eeek….is it terrible to love Mondays??? But how can I not when every week I get to share the most gorgeous Wedding inspiration? Be it the latest beautiful bridal collection or, like today the most exquisite inspiration shoot, it is impossible for me not to love Mondays and the excitement they bring! I have been simply bursting about sharing today’s elegant inspiration shoot with you ever since I first spied it – the styling (that lovely dress from Sally Eagle Bridal) and pretty palette, the historic venue with its Downton Abbey‘esque interiors, and not to mention the photography, all just scream sophistication. And so it is with much excitement I introduce Sarah McEvoy and Jenn Hadley and their super glamorous vintage inspiration shoot…..

“Our collaboration celebrates a hand-picked selection of talented wedding vendors from Wellington, New Zealand. We drew inspiration from the decadence of the 1920s and pulled everything together with a modern edge……”

“Our Brides look was built around a gorgeous locally designed Sally Eagle wedding dress, with delicate lace detailing, matched by a bespoke headpiece reminiscent of a birdcage veil. A romantic colour palette of creams, gold, and chocolate was created, complemented by an over sized textural bouquet of roses, magnolias and pieris japonica. The burgundy ranunculus and plum lipstick pulled the whole look together.”

“For our newly engaged young couple we adorned a sideboard in the wood panelled banquet room with a delicious petal ruffle cake, vintage china, crystal vases and silver candelabras. The elegant and romantic details can be seen in everything from the jewellery and cupcakes to the art deco typefaces on the stationery.”

Now who doesn’t like Mondays after that? Anyone else feeling inspired by Downton Abbey??? Especially the third season, if anything the costumes are only getting more lush!
