Remember the beautiful bridal inspiration shoot I shared a few weeks ago, the one that featured the most exquisite Edwardian wedding dresses? Well, the team behind that shoot ruudC Fotografie and NamaNama are back today, with something a little different! Every bit as romantic, but more rustic than elegant and with a fabulous cozy Autumn charm that I am sure you are going to love…..

With the golden leaves of the Autumn trees forming the perfect backdrop, ruudC Fotografie, Nathalie and a super talented team of creatives came together to create the most beautiful rustic wedding inspiration, based upon the idea of a Picnic in the Woods – have you ever heard anything more perfect? With flowers by Loek Natuurlijk in a palette of rich Autumnal reds mixed with contrasting shades of blue; gorgeous vintage bridal gowns and headpieces from NamaNama, and the most scrumptious looking dessert table full of local fare this charmfest of a wedding shoot will have you dreaming of a Fall wedding – and your stomach rumbling!

Nathalie of NamaNama explains “I love the cozy atmosphere of the shoot, celebrating vintage and a Burgundian lifestyle. We in the South of the Netherlands are Burgundian people, therefore the abundance of homemade sweets and even a chocolate fondue. The chocolate fondue set featured in the shoot originates from the 70s. The lace wedding dress is from the 1970s as well, and the silk wedding dress from the 1920s. The furniture, cutlery and suitcases are also vintage. 

As well as showcasing vintage, we also wanted to show that you don’t need a huge budget to have a lovely wedding. There are a lot of DIY elements in this shoot: such as the stationery, the blue vases we used for the centrepiece, the bunting backdrop as well as the Dutch no bake cake, little apple pies and Dutch dessert. I had the honor to work with a creative team to make this inspiration shoot possible.”
