Today I am bringing you not one but two Chic Vintage Brides! Marrying in 1900 in a true military wedding in Skaneateles, New York State…..
I wish I knew more about the wedding and the lives that lay ahead of them, but sadly I don’t even know their names. I like to think of them though as having long and cantankerous lives, a little like the Dowager Countess on Downton Abbey 
Welcoming daughter-in-laws never quite good enough for their sons and forever slightly bewildered by the technological developments of their lifetime – just imagining the changes they saw (electricity, the telephone, the gramophone…. women wearing trousers!) makes my head spin.
