Gloria Vanderbilt was an actress, American solcialite, millionaire heiress and in December 1941, when she married Hollywood Agent Pasquale DiCicco, a Chic Vintage Bride……
17 year old Gloria wore an incredibly beautiful, and fashion forward for the time, short sleeved, fitted and draped, satin gown with a 30-foot-long train and a rather impressive tulle veil.

The cake was as dramatic as the bride’s gown – particularly given America had just joined WWII.
Such a fashionable bride, it is little wonder her wedding dress has gone down as one of the greatest of the American “royalty”.
